SHARK BITES INTERNET CABEL – VIETNAM SCHOOL KIDS GET HOMEWORK VACATION

Viet Nam recently had 93 million frustrated internet users after a shark bit into an undersea fiber optic cable. The resulting network blackouts or slow-downs caused frustration among home users and businesses alike. One group that did not seem to upset were the millions of students who had the best excuse ever for why they didn’t finish their report papers.

A spokesman for Google Figer, which has over 100,000 miles of fiber optic cable cross the pacific ocean, recently told a newspaper that Google was going to reinforce their cable so sharks can’t bite through it.
